So, you came to the "about us" section… it stands to reason you want to know stuff you wouldn’t know, unless you were there when it happened. Where to start? How about where we met.

Amber and I met in a game store in Abingdon on a cold Monday night. It was a small crowded room with a bunch of nerdy young men so it makes sense that a beautiful woman would stand out. But, I can honestly say I couldn’t stop looking at her; she was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. For those of you who know me and how much I keep to myself, you would assume correctly that I stared at her like a dazed moron for several hours that night before actually gathering the nerve to talk to her. Eventually, I actually said "hi" and we hit it off famously. I am the last person to believe in things as easy or corny as love at first sight—or falling head over heels—but there she was hitting me over the head with a shovel going "HEY, God made us for each other, ya dingus!". But, that’s how we met and I am blessed and grateful to be able to call this wonderful woman my bride.

Another thing you might want to know is how the whole Bunny and Kitty Motif started. Honestly, around each other we turn into a Bunny Rabbit and a Kitty Cat.

It’s kind of uncanny when you think about it but it’s true. For instance, I am a Bunny because I nibble on literally any and every food she makes (‘cause it’s delicious, by the way), perk up when I hear her make sounds in case she needs me, and can move my face in a fashion that resembles a Bunny wiggling its nose (which I will most likely do during the entire wedding because she makes me happy and also finds it adorable).

Amber, on the other hand, is a Cat. Period. Full stop. She wants my attention even if it’s just to then tell me she doesn’t want my attention, when we are watching tv she will just arbitrarily decide my lap is now her warm snuggle spot, and she enjoys pawing at shiny things in a very cute fashion. So yeah, we are a Bunny and Kitty and you will hear us call each other that—so be prepaaared! *random maniacal voice*
